★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 神社で鳥居の内側ににこのような門を設ける例は他所ではあまり見ない。
奈良の春日大社などの歴史ある神社では普通のことらしいが、仏教寺院の山門にも思えるような作りの門は近隣ではここだけのように思う。江戸時代初期の1648年に、本殿、旧拝殿などと同時に建立されたもので、銅板葺き屋根も共通で、国の重要文化財であるのも同じ。
さすがに鎌倉時代からの由緒ある神社である。
I don't see many other places where such a gate is installed inside the torii gate at a shrine.
It seems to be normal at historic shrines such as Kasuga Taisha Shrine in Nara, but I think that there is only one gate in the neighborhood that looks like a mountain gate of a Buddhist temple. It was erected at the same time as the main shrine and the old worship hall in 1648 in the early Edo period, and has a common copper-roofed roof, which is also an important cultural property of the country.
As expected, it is a historical shrine from the Kamakura period.
