★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 中野昭慶、故・川北紘一の両特撮監督との出逢いと思い出の場ですね。「おっ、来たな。丁度良かった、観て欲しいものがあるんだ。」の一言で出迎えて頂きましたら、当時製作されていた特撮ヒーロー番組「流星人間ゾーン」、「ウルトラマンＡ」、劇場映画「ゴジラ対○○○シリーズ」、の撮影用着ぐるみやミニチュアの駄目出しをする事になりました。ちなみに、川北監督は時にはウルトラマンや怪獣の中に入ってたりもされていまして、子供の僕も驚きっぱなしになりました。ある意味では、円谷英二特技監督を越えた方でしたから、鬼籍の人になられたのが惜しまれます。何せ、円谷英二御大でも獲れなかった日本アカデミー賞をゴジラ関係者としては史上初めて受賞されたのですから…。但し、「日本沈没」で中野昭慶さんが先に受賞されていますけどね。

Anyway, it was the first Godzilla-related person to ever win the Japan Academy Prize, which Eiji Tsuburaya could not win. However, Akiyoshi Nakano was first awarded for "Sinking in Japan".
