ね	ねこパパ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ さわらの小野川から歩いて10分位の所にあり、小さいですが駐車場もあります。本物の山車などが二台とお祭り関連の展示物を見ることができます。館の方も親切な方で展示物やお祭りの説明を詳しくして頂きました。とても大きな山車で、更に山車の上に歴史上の人物や鷹などが乗っているので三階の高さがあり、お祭りではこんな大きな山車が町をねりあるきます。夜には提灯に火が灯りとても綺麗なそうです。入場料は400円です。 It is about a 10-minute walk from the Ono River in the Spanish mackerel, and although it is small, there is a parking lot. It has the history of the floats, and also houses some of the floats which are used in the city’s annual festivals. In the float exhibition room they even have photo spot pinpoints so you can take the best photos of the floats. There is a theatre room where you can listen to the history of the area. If you arrive in a group of foreigners and are willing to wait they will put on an English translated video (it’s dubbed with a robotic voice, so the pronounciation may be a little strange of some words, but the translation is correct) The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable! Would definitely visit again.

The Sawara carnival was attended by all Sawara residents using the traditions and customs of each region. This celebration has been going on since the Edo period most than 300 years ago. In this museum, you can see various cultures typical of the Sawara people, such as the Sawara parade and Ayame flowers (Irish flowers).
