Satomi Park is lovely any time of year and boasts views of Edogawa, Tokyo Skytree and Mt Fuji on a clear day. The garden section of the park is famous for its plum and cherry blossoms, this is a popular local hanami spot. There is a kids play area that's well equipped for older children (no baby swings) and toilets, including disabled access.
A nice quiet break from the town and a brisk walk up the steep hill if on foot!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a beautiful park. It has history, a Rose garden with fountains, views of Tokyo and the Edo River, a poet's historical home, a few places for kids to play in nature, plus a playground. We didn't find the ruins, but it was a nice walk in an interesting park.
