I bought a genuine BRZ trunk spoiler from the auction site, so I asked this shop to install it. The pattern for installing the genuine BRZ / 86 trunk spoiler is not provided by the manufacturer. Since it is necessary to make a hole in the trunk according to the actual item, I decided to ask the store instead of DIY. I inquired about the rough estimate by e-mail in advance, but the actual wage was the same. Also, I was aware of this because I was informed that it could not be installed in its original position because there was no paper pattern. The person who seems to be the store manager was friendly, but The level of another worker who made the installation is low, The installation was not satisfactory. Place the trunk spoiler on the trunk and visually mark the location of the hole. Of course, the locations of the holes on the left and right and the mounting position were not straight. I contacted him at a later date to widen the hole and make fine adjustments, so the position of the trunk spoiler as seen from the outside was in the middle. However, as shown in the second and third images, when you look at the trunk from the back (when the trunk is open), you can see the difference between the left and right positions of the closed holes. If it's inside the lining, it won't be noticeable, so it doesn't bother me, but when I open the trunk, it's noticeable, so it feels like it's installed by an amateur, and it's awkward. I checked with the store, but it seems that this quality is within the acceptable range. Originally, I think that you should check the top, bottom, left, and right positions with a ruler etc. before drilling, but it seems that you will suddenly drill a hole without such confirmation. We do not recommend using it unless you can tolerate this quality at this price. I don't think I will ask for similar work in the future because the quality is not acceptable in my subjectivity. If the store prioritizes customer satisfaction, I think we should admit ourselves and show an attitude of replacing the trunk itself with a new one.
