電車を待っているとたまに「聖籠エコミニバス」というピンクのバスや敬和学園の送迎バスもやってきます。
最悪、電車に乗り遅れたら県道まで出て新潟交通のE46バスで新発田か新潟に行く手もあります。運賃高いけど。

改札口を入って、右手にトイレあり。
新潟東港東埠頭から、徒歩で１時間40分かかった。
（スマホのマップの案内に頼って歩いていたら、目の前に駅があるが、駅舎の反対側に着いたため、踏切を探して、大回りすることになった。）

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅から歩いて大通りに出たところにコンビニあり。駅はみどりの窓口あり、自動券売機、簡易Suicaがあります。
トイレもあるので電車が来るのを安心して待てます。
駅を出て少し歩くと大通り。そこにコンビニがあります
There is a convenience store on the main street after walking from the station. The station has a green window, automatic ticket vending machines and simple Suica.
There is also a toilet so you can wait for the train to come.

これまでは業務委託駅としてPOS端末が置いてあり、ある程度の乗車券が買えました。
新幹線特急券、指定席券のほか、通学定期券、障害者割引だとか色々と指定した乗車券も買えなくなりました。
徒歩30分ほど掛かるものの最寄りの私立高校があり、それも全日制。
不便にはなると思います。

駅近にある自動販売機が非常に安かった記憶があります。
また徒歩10分ぐらいの所に佐々木橋があり
充実してました。
聖籠町に入るので恐らく佐々木駅は聖籠町が近いと思いました。いやー良かった！
