★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この石は神の召された舟であると伝わっている。昭和2年、三河線工事の折、御船石が埋められそうになった為か作業員が負傷する等の事故が多発したため、そのまま原位置に保存し「御船石」の碑を建立した。と言う事です。
