A	Antoni guinovart caballé on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elegant top class gastronomy. Traditional catalan cooking with a modern twist. Tasteful great ingredients. Not show off cooking like many nowadays fine dining restaurants.
R	Ryan Hartley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long-term resident and regular michelin restaurant diner. Sorry to say that I was looking forward to this but Sant Pau is disappointing and not value for money. Had the 7,000 yen lunch menu but once water and service charges are added it gets up to a square ichi man (10,000). For that you can get about 8-10 courses in similar 2-michelin star restaurants in Tokyo. At Sant Pau you get just 5 courses and two of them are desserts; not sure why you need two desserts. In addition the first and second courses are pretty similar; essentially two salsa/red pepper style ideas that taste almost the same. At 4,000-5,000 this course would make sense. For 7,000 (but in reality 10,000), sorry, much better options out there. They couldnt even be clear where they are. The google maps location is wrong, despite Sant Pau's name still being on the building. We went to that wrong place and had to quickly get over to the new location. My sense is that Sant Pau doesnt quite grasp the level of competition out there. Tokyo is michelin restaurant central, and Sant Pau is not creatively up to it (yet).
K	Kaare Ellen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing. I had the Menu Degustacio. The dishes varied a lot in quality, some outstanding, some rather tasteless, and one I simply did not understand. Their wine-menu was the same, huge variation also there. I was expecting a lot more to be honest, at least being consistently good, both the food and wine. Beautiful room and service, btw.

Karita-san was the perfect host, chatty and full of knowledge about wines and food. The restaurant is beautiful too. Well recommended, highly worth a visit.
