何においても名物はさんぽう風ドライカレー、甘辛く出汁風味のそぼろをカレー味に味付け、卵チャーハンの上に乗せたもの、ドライカレーとも和食とも付かないオンリーワンの味わいで、旨味が溢れる最高に美味しい一皿です、あっさりと鳥の旨味を味わう唐揚げとサラダも付きます
鶏そぼろ弁当はそぼろと玉子が絡み合う点ではドライカレーの親戚ですがよりオーソドックスな味わいでシンプルなのが好きな方にはこちら
鶏弁当は照り焼きをご飯の上に、特だとご飯が見えない程です、タレの風味と味付けは絶妙でスルスルと食べられます
チキンカツ定食は、衣も薄めでお肉が肉厚なのに非常に柔らかく美味、ソースも自家製か薄味で肉の旨味を邪魔しない加減です
何を食べても美味しい、駐車場は無いので高島屋の駐車場をお借りしましょう

唐揚げ入りサラダがついていても1320円は、ちょっと高いかな～と思ったけど、まあ、美味しかったからいいかな。
カレーは、ちょっと甘めの卵チャーハンに、ほんのりピリ辛のとりひき肉のルーが乗ってる感じ。ご飯とルーの甘辛が絶妙なバランスと思います。
小盛りを頼む人もいたけど、普通でもペロリと食べられる軽さ。
仕事で直前まで一緒にいた近場の人も偶然に一緒になり、人気なんだなと感じました。
しかし、コロナ対策なのか、市内の人かどうか確認されて、ノートに名前と電話を書かされたけど、完全に客にノートを渡して書かしていたので、個人情報が漏れないか心配です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 名物のドライカレーがうまい。チャーハンのようなご飯に、にんじんの甘みと、出汁の効いたピリッと辛いルーが合う。
「ドライカレー」というとそこまでテンションが上がらないというか、美味しいイメージがなかったが、ここのドライカレーがそのイメージを変えてくれた。
実際食べてないのでわからないが、別のメニューもかなり「当たり感」があったのでまた訪れたい。

ドライカレーを食べよう思いましたが、同日ランチを鳥取市内にてカレーを食べたため、地鶏の親子丼にしました。肉が軟らかく、割り下の溶き卵もトロトロで甘くとても美味しいです。デフォルトでかしわ天もついてきますが、こちらも肉質が柔らかく上品な味がしました。一品料理もありますが、お値段が高めです。とりめしと一品料理を頼むのも迷いましたが予算的に断念。
商店街の一角にあり駐車場はありません。店の向かいにコインパーキングがあります。30分程度滞在しましたが、100円ですみました。交差点を鋭角クランクで曲がるため小回りが利かない車だと辛いです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 久し振りに米子の中心地でのランチ。ネットでさんぽうのドライカレーが話題となっているとあったので、３０年ぶりに行って見ました。ランチ時なので客のほとんどがさんぽう風ドライカレーを注文。税込み 1,540円はランチにしては奮発ですが、コロナ禍で小遣を余り使っていなかったので頼んでみました。ピラフにキーマカレーがかけてあるような感じで、米のパラパラ感が何とも言えません。クセになりそうです。
「さんぽう」は５０年位前から、あの場所で経営されていると思いますが、米子の飲食店の老舗が代替わりが出来ず、次々消えて行く中、健在で繁盛しているのを見ると、滅多に行かなくても応援したくなります。

店のおばちゃんが良い味出してました（笑）
