幕末の偉人、佐久間象山が勉学のため松代から上田へ馬で通った途中、休息した場所だそうです。 2021年4月砥石城から下山途中（迷子になりまして＾＾；）の林道脇にありました…このあたりは車一台なら普通に通れる程度の林道です。わざわざここを目指して行こうとするのには、ちょっとわかりにくい場所です。 Googleマップだとこの林道は存在しないことになっているようですので、スマホアプリのナビなどを頼りにここに向かう際はご注意を。神川の西岸の林道沿いにあります。（ナビだと川の東側の集落のあたりに案内されてそれで案内終了しそうなので）なお、この場所、休息の地といわれれば、なるほどと思わせられるものがあるのですが、銘水といわれてもかけらも水気がなかったあたりが微妙なところでした。季節によっては水が出ているのでしょうか？ちなみにこの林道、旧松代街道というらしく、元々は江戸時代から続く古くからの街道だったらしいです・・・いわれてみれば昔はろくに橋がかかってなかったので川を渡らずすむようにに街道が整備されたのでしょうね。山裾の崖の上を縫うように走る林道なので、今となっては廃れていますが。

Is there water depending on the season? By the way, this forest road seems to be the old Matsushiro highway, and it seems that it was originally an old highway that has continued since the Edo period ... In the old days, there was no bridge, so the road was probably improved so that you wouldn't have to cross the river. It's a forest road that runs like weaving on a cliff at the foot of the mountain, so it's obsolete now.
