嘉永4年（1851）、阪谷朗廬が伯父山鳴大年・山成直蔵の協力によって簗瀬の桜に漢学塾（桜溪塾）を開き、青少年の人材育成のために大いに尽くしました。桜溪塾の朗廬を尋ねて全国から漢学者、漢詩仲間、志士たちがやってきて賑わいました。
嘉永6年（1853）、一橋藩代官所江原役所は一橋藩立郷校設立のため朗廬を招き、翌年に興譲館と名づけられました。朗廬は15年間興譲館で師弟育成に当たり多くの人材を世に出しました。 大正2年（1913）、桜溪遺跡保存会によって記念碑の建立、草廬の補修、園庭の植樹が行われ、以後桜溪塾は興譲館館祖の子弟教導の地として保存されています。
桜の季節もよいですが秋の紅葉がおすすめですよ。

In 1851, Akira Sanya opened a Kangaku Juku (Sakurakei Juku) on the cherry blossoms in Yanase with the cooperation of Uncle Yamanari and Naozo Yamanari. Chinese scholars, Chinese poetry colleagues, and priests came from all over the country to ask for the Lulu of Okei Juku.
In 1853, the Ebara government office of the Hitotsubashi feudal bureau invites Lulu to establish a Hitotsubashi feudal school, and was named Koshokan the following year. Langlu has been bringing many talents to the school for 15 years to train his teachers. In 1913 (1913), a monument was erected, the grassland was repaired, and a garden was planted by the Sakurakyo Archeological Preservation Society. .
The cherry blossom season is good, but autumn leaves are recommended.
