★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is excellent - at Hachobori stop on the Hakushima streetcar line, next to the Lawson`s convenience store and near the main intersection of Chuodori and Aoiodori ("Denchidori").
The clinic is on the 6F of a building next to a medical pharmacy (ground floor), with signs street-side and in the elevator, and the signs make it easy to find.
The waiting room is comfortable and cozy, with a window overlooking the street. All rooms are impeccably clean.
I rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes.
All staff have always been courteous and kind to me. The dentist is always cheerful and charming. They work gently, quickly, efficiently, and there is minimal or no pain or blood. All staff are ladies.
I always ask for cleaning and checking. I have been a patient here since around 2008 and cannot imagine going elsewhere, even though now I have to travel from outside the prefecture to get here - it`s worth the trip.
My limited Japanese is still comprehensible to the receptionist, so I can make appointments by phone. Occasionally I`ve asked if they have time for an unscheduled appointment and they have been willing and able to take care of me, although this clinic seems to be popular and busy.
Highly recommended, particularly for people who are nervous or afraid of the dentist. They are ok with foreigners who speak English and a little Japanese, although it`s best to bring a Japanese friend the first time so you can fill out the forms and tell them what dental care you are seeking.
