★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 広大な田園を見渡す小高い丘に静かに眠る歴史ある公園です。人影少ないマイナーな園内で過ぎ去った思い出に浸ることができました。ともひめ蕎麦が食べられないのが残念です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 元々は本丸と馬出ししかない小城だったのでしょう、しかしその馬出しが取り残されたままその外側に大規模な郭が増設されたので、二の丸と本丸の間に馬出しがあるという世にも珍しい構造になっています。
掘割は良く残っていて、さらに塀と櫓が再現してあるので、当時の関東の城の感じを追体験することができます。
今は地元の方のゲートボール場として機能していますが、コスプレイヤーとかに知れ渡ったらあっという間に人気撮影スポットになりそうです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 復元した建物の中や櫓に登れるかは事前に確認した方がいいかもしれません。今回は入れませんでしたが、櫓、土塁、堀は戦国時代当時の姿を残しているようです。平日は訪れる人も少ないようですが、のんびりと満喫できます。城を中心とした公園で櫓の近くに10台ぐらいは停められそうな駐車場があります。ただ車でないとたどり着けなさそうな場所です

人が全然いないが、駐車場などしっかり整備
