休	休石 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 入り口とは反対の東側から入ってしまったせいか、一般的な神社とは明らかに違う雰囲気（異空間のような）に、「ここはテーマパークの夢の跡？」が第一印象でした。枯れ草がそのままで手入れは行き届いていないものの、境内には手作りの祠が点在し、すり鉢状になった窪地にはこれまた手作り感の強い建物や橋、そして桜を含む数種の草木で構成された庭園が広がっていて、探索心をくすぐられました。不思議、面白い、と思いながら境内を歩き回っていると、ちょうど地主兼管理人兼宮司さん？がいらっしゃって色々話を聞くことができました。20年ほど前に勧請し少しずつ境内を整えていったこと、町内での出来事や苦労話、今後の計画など。そして練積み造のお堂に案内され、ご自身で彫ったオリジナル観音像の数々を見せていただきました。びっくりの連続です。自分は変わり者だと卑下されてましたが、広い土地を利用して神様仏様の世界観を独自の感性で表現するなど凡人には真似できません。私有地だが勝手に入っても構わないとのこと。暖かくなったらまた参詣したいと思います。 The first impression was "Is this a dream of a theme park?"
