★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 100円で売られている鮒の頭の馴れ寿司がお買い得。めちゃ美味いです。琵琶湖湖畔民じゃないので、ここの特徴なのかは分かりませんが。
The crucian carp head sushi sold for 100 yen is a bargain. It's really delicious. I'm not a Lake Biwa shore person, so I don't know if it's a feature here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鮒寿司なるものを食したことが無いので、どうせ食べるのなら老舗の本物をと思い、阪本屋さんに伺いました。店内も柱、敷居、框、引き戸等々老舗らしさがありました。
真空パックの最小のものを買いました。
とにかく発酵が強く、酸っぱい、酸っぱ~!
嗜好品のように好き好きだと思います。郷土色満載です。

I bought the smallest vacuum pack.
Anyway, fermentation is strong, sour, sour!
I think I like it like a luxury item. Full of local colors.

古くからの 立派な店構えに感動しつつ 鮒寿司を購入しました
発酵食品関係は 結構好きなので それもあってか とても美味しく頂けました
通販もあるようなので 旅行に行かれない時は通販で購入してみようと思います
地元の方からすれば当然なのだと思いますが やはりこの鮒寿司って 日本酒に めちゃんこ合いますよね?
またこのお店はかつては膳所藩の 料理人の方の お店だったと知り びっくりしました 歴史が深いんですね…
