J	Jun Kudo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 米坂線から羽越本線に乗り換えで利用しました。駅には待合室とトイレと自動販売機のほかめぼしいものはありません。駅の一方にしか出口がないので、駅の北側に行くには大変な遠回りが必要です。一方で駅の南側にはいろいろなものがそろっており、タクシー会社や食堂があります。駅から徒歩5分程度で行ける松田商店という酒屋では地元限定の日本酒が買えます。さらには、徒歩10分程度の場所にある荒川総合体育館そばには蒸気機関車が静態保存されているのを見ることができます。 I used to transfer from the Yonesaka Line to the Uetsu Main Line.
