大きな交差点の近くですが、緑に囲まれているので割合静かで昼間でも人通りが少ない。まわりに古い家が多く3世代同居とか兼業農家とかの影響か学力的には片柳中と共にランクが低い。近所の大谷小だとバスで大宮の塾へ通わせる熱心な家庭も多く大谷中からは浦和方面の有名県立高合格者がいるので対比的。
It is an elementary school in Minuma Ward, Saitama City.
It's near a big intersection, but it's surrounded by greenery, so it's relatively quiet and there isn't much traffic even in the daytime. There are many old houses around, and the rank is low along with Katayanagi Naka in terms of academic ability, probably because of the influence of living together for 3 generations or part-time farmers. In the neighborhood of Otani Ko, there are many enthusiastic families who can go to Omiya's cram school by bus, and there are famous prefectural high school passers in the Urawa area from Otani Naka, so it is a contrast.
