★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この西覚寺は、香川県丸亀市飯山に小川に位置します。ここは、国道４３８号線の飯山北交差点から西方面に行くとある。県道１９５号岡田丸亀線沿いにある水辺の楽校公園からは東方ヘ４００mほど行った所にある。この辺りは、桶の口集落と云い、周りは田園地帯である。寺前は道幅が狭いので、注意が必要である。この寺は紫雲山法流院西覚寺と云い、浄土真宗興正派の寺院である。中々、この辺りの寺院では、風格がある立派な建物群である!?西方面は土器川が流れ、北方面には飯野山(讃岐富士422m)が良く見えます!
This Saikakuji Temple is located in a stream in Iiyama, Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture. It is said to go west from the Iiyama north intersection on Route 438. It is about 400m east of Mizubenogakko Park along the Okada Marugame Line on Prefectural Road 195. This area is called the tub mouth village, and the surrounding area is the countryside. The road is narrow in front of the temple, so be careful. This temple is called Shiunzan Horyuin Seikakuji and is a temple of the Jodo Shinshu Kosho school. In the middle, the temples around here are a group of magnificent buildings !? The Doki River flows to the west, and Mt. Iino (Sanuki Fuji 422m) can be seen well to the north!
