★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 神社は道路上からやや盛り上がっているところにあるので、大和川の分流、吉田川の堤防上に作られたのだろう。
下には賽の河原が見え、子供たちが石積みの刑にあっている。
向こうは三途の川を挟んであの世、彼岸だ。
山々の緑も見える。
この神社は彼ら、子供たちを地蔵菩薩が救うために建てられたのであろう.......
とはわたしの勝手な解釈。
本当は（辞書によると）境の神、外敵を防ぐための神、道祖神などであろう。
