★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 神御子美牟須比命神社に向かう途中に、すごい物をみつけました。正六角柱の岩石の六面に地蔵菩薩が彫られているもの。たくさんお地蔵さまを見てきたけれど、こんな形式のものは初めて見ました。この形式は奈良で４例しかないとのこ。最初からこのような形で祀られていたかは分かりませんが、とても斬新でありがたい気がしました。地元の方が大切にしてくださっているのが分かります。
 On the way to Kamimiko Mimusu Himei Shrine, I found something amazing. Jizo Bodhisattva is carved on the six sides of the rock of a regular hexagonal prism. I've seen a lot of Jizo, but I've never seen anything like this. There are only 4 cases of this format in Nara. I don't know if it was enshrined in this way from the beginning, but I was grateful that it was very novel. You can see that the locals value it.
