は	はるのゆいたろう on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 天台宗の寺院です。北条時頼が諸国巡歴の際に宿を取ったとの謂われが有るそうです。確かに本堂には北条氏の家紋が付いていました。また境内の大銀杏の大きさからも歴史を感じさせます。この日は本堂内に入る事も出来ました。重厚な内部に感動し、更に涅槃絵図も拝見する事が出来てとても有り難かったです。波の伊八は分かりませんでしたが、鐘楼を始めとして彫刻は素晴らしかったです。また境内には可愛らしい石仏もあって何だかとても癒されます。 It is a temple of Tendai sect. A	Ayustet Arumo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新上総三十三観音霊場第７番札所。御宿町にある天台宗の寺院。山門やら仁王門やらはありません。檀家が多いと思われ、本堂の前と右手には墓地となっており、広めの駐車場も整備されています。ただし、海から近いこともあり、古くからの町並なので一般道は狭いです。波の伊八で知られる彫刻もあり文化財の価値も十分です。更に本堂の裏手に進むと洞窟があり、ワクワクドキドキが止まりません。中へ進むと、観音様が安置されていました。外へ出ると正面に大銀杏が立っています。秋には美しく彩ることは間違いないでしょう。山の方に目をやると何やら階段があります。登ってみると御堂が有りました。更に上には神社があり、その先には展望台が有りました。なかなか、楽しめた参拝となりました。 Shinjo So 33 Kannon Sacred Ground No. 7 Fudasho. M	Murasha Captain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 線路の下をくぐるレンガのトンネルの向こうにあります。本堂には波の伊八の小さな作品があります。作者は分かりませんが鐘楼にも花鳥と獅子頭の彫刻が飾られていました。本堂の裏には大日堂と書かれた洞穴があり、抜けた先には大日如来が鎮座しています。大銀杏のそばにある階段の上は墓地ですが、谷内六郎の手がけた絵のモデルになった風景を眺めることができます。六郎は週刊新潮の表紙を終生担当したことで知られています。リゾートマンションが景観を損ねているものの当時と変わらない風景です。 It's on the other side of a brick tunnel that goes under the railroad tracks.
