Saikoji - Okazaki

It's a quiet place. Senninzuka is famous.

There is a relative's tomb. Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in the current season. It is a temple on the mountain, but it is safe even for the elderly because there is a parking lot.

In the Idano battle, there is a Senninzuka that was memorialized regardless of the enemy or ally. The Kannon statue, which is said to have been created after the Battle of Okehazama, is also a place where you can feel the history.

I have been visiting since I was a kid because there is a relative's tomb. (At that time there was a nursery? There were play equipments, but I was looking for them when I was a kid.) I heard a story telling my parents, "I used to be an old battlefield." However, because it was an image of the old battlefield = Sekigahara, Sakai, it did not come to a pin (lol) Even if it doesn't appear in the textbook, there is an ancient battlefield like this (° _ ;;)

There is [Senkoji] on a small hill in Kamoda-cho, Okazaki city. This is the old battlefield site of the Battle of Inano (1467) (there is a Senninzuka that mourns the war dead). There is a monument on the left side of the main hall. Sasazuka, traces of summer grass and soldiers The phrase was struck by the journey of [Oku no Hosomichi] in 1689. The monument was erected on October 12th (1743) by the locals on October 12th (1743).

This place was the old battlefield where the 4th generation of Matsudaira, Owari's Terabe, Iho, Yakusa, Koromo, and Ueno's warriors fought fiercely on August 23, 1467. Matsudaira Chikatada, who won the Idano battle, buried and mourned the mound regardless of the enemy or ally. It seems that this was later called Senninzuka. However, the mound vibrates, causing disasters such as the spread of bad illness. It is said that he built a temple there and invited the chief priest of Senjuyama Fukurinji Temple in Urabe-go, Hekikai-gun, a grand disciple of Shosō Kaisan, to make a Buddhist memorial service. Then, this temple was opened as the parent mountain Saikoji from the name of Matsudaira Nagachika (the son of Chikatada). At about the same time, Daiju-ji Temple was built in 1475 by the opening of Matsudaira Chikatada and the opening of the mountain, which was a memorial service for the war dead. ("Taiki" is the Chinese name of Shogun Shogun, and it is said that he was named by Shogun in prayer for the birth of a general from Mr. Matsudaira.) Then, after the battle between the two, when Ieyasu fled to the Daijuji Temple, many monks, who are said to be 500, fought against Odakata, the pursuit, and died in the war. There is also a "popular mound" where the monks were buried in this Saikou-ji Temple. Since then, Idano has been a fierce battlefield three times. "Summer grass and soldiers are the traces of dreams" In fact, there is a monument at Saikou-ji Temple in memory of the soldier who disappeared in the battle during the summer grass in Hiraizumi when Basho Matsuo traveled along the back alley. This Idano was also erected as a monument suitable for the 50th anniversary of Basho, an ancient battlefield where many soldiers fought during the Warring States period, and it seems that he longed for the high wind.
