★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 白石城二の丸東口大手門です。外曲輪、三の丸を通り本丸へ入るための門だった。当時の屏風絵には二階に格子窓があり、その下に狭間が描写されており東の守りの要っだと想像できる。明治初頭の廃城令により廃城処分とされ、専念寺が払下げされたが、東北本線開通に伴い現在の場所に移築された。現在は「目像窓」と「丸窓」となっている。これは太鼓を置いて時を知らせるために幕末にあけた穴で幕末の平和な時代を忍ばせるたてものとなっている。
 Shiroishi Castle is the second entrance to the Marunouchi Otomon. It was a gate to enter Honmaru through the outer circle, Sanomaru. There is a grid window on the second floor of the folding screen at that time, and a space is drawn beneath it, which can be imagined to be the need for protection of the east. The castle was abandoned due to the ruined castle in the early Meiji era, and the temple was dropped, but it was relocated to the present location with the opening of the Tohoku Main Line. Currently, they are "eye image window" and "round window". This is a hole that was opened at the end of the Edo period to put the drums in to inform the time, and is the one to make the peaceful era of the end of the Edo period.
