駅から数分歩くとドライブイン鯖石があります。結構有名でかなり美味しいので行ってみてください。
無人駅ですので、列車に乗る際は、一番前のドアからご乗車になり、整理券を取ってご乗車ください。
It is an unmanned station on one side and two lines in Sabaishi, Owani Town. There are rice fields and apple fields around.
A few minutes walk from the station, you will find Drive-In Sabaishi. It's quite famous and quite delicious, so please go.
Since it is an unmanned station, when you get on the train, please get on from the front door and get a numbered ticket.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昔の記憶では、駅舎は道路を越えた神社付近（石川側）あったと思います。リンゴ端への中へ降り立った感じです。
平川側には尾開山、南には阿闍羅山が見えます。尾開山の紅葉、色づき具合が素晴らしかったので、駅舎と一緒に撮影したく出掛けました。
付近ではいまではほとんど見ない、ドライブインが営業しています。その名もズバリ、鯖石ドライブイン！賑わっています。
In my old memory, the station building was near the shrine (Ishikawa side) across the road. It feels like I've landed inside the apple edge.
You can see Obirakiyama on the Hirakawa side and Ajarayama on the south. The autumn colors and coloring of Mt. Obiraki were wonderful, so I went out to take a picture with the station building.
Drive-ins, which are rarely seen in the vicinity, are open. Its name is Sabaishi Drive-In! It is crowded.
