★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 美郷町六郷八百刈にある曹洞宗寺院です。御本尊は十一面観世音菩薩。元は真言宗寺院でしたが、大本山・総持寺の道叟道愛（奥羽地方に曹洞禅を広めたという「峨山二十五哲」の一人）が文和年間（1352～1356）ごろ開創したと伝えられます。
有り難く、秋田三十三観音霊場第15番札所の御朱印、”十一面観音”を頂きました。
It is a Soto sect temple located in Happyakukari, Rokugo, Misato-cho. The principal image is the eleven-faced Kanzeon Bosatsu. It used to be a Shingon Buddhist temple, but it was founded around the Bunna era (1352-1356) by Doho Doai (one of the "Twenty-five Tetsu Toyama" who spread Soto Zen in the Ou region) of Soinji Temple in Omotoyama. I will be told.
