The shop is run by a nice gentleman that will teach you how to wrangle and then serve you your efforts with a side of cold Barley Tea. The fish will be grilled with only salt seasoning on charcoal and cant get any more fresh. 750 Yen will let you catch and cook one fish. A great place to check out that is only a 5 minute walk away from the Ryuokyo Canyon. The owner knows some english so foreigners should not be shy and visit the garden! There is even a Koi pond at the back.
