There is a festival every June. It is crowded with night shops and performances. For those who have trouble climbing mountains, there is also Kamishiro below.

There are three ways to get there. Two are pretty mountain roads, so it is better to go with climbing shoes. Going from Komagata Shrine, there are three small companies along the way. The other one is a road (not asphalt) maintained from the parking lot at the entrance of the observation deck, and we climb stairs from the middle. It is quite long, but this way is recommended for those who start.

A sacred place of mixed gods and Buddha that was originally dedicated to Kokuzo. The temple is built on a part of the flat land just before the top of the mountain. The approach is a steep slope, but if you go to the right along the stainless steel railing, you will see Onnazaka, and Otokozaka has a "danger caution" sign. If you don't know it, you won't notice it, it's just a steep slope, but if you look closely, you can see the footsteps of the beast road aiming at the upper left, and if you look closely, you can see the chain as a clue. You should be able to find. If it's Otokozaka and you're on Otokozaka, you have to be careful and climb while keeping the basic three-point support for climbing. There is a place where the chain breaks on the way, and you can get a view of the Shimamori basin on the left from that place. When a new chain starts with the feeling of turning back to the upper right, the summit is just around the corner. When you visit, let's go to the back of the temple from the left side. The view of the Shimamori basin is the best! Next to the temple is the statue of Kiyomori Taira. From the back, it continues to the new approach along the ridge. The view overlooks the Shimamori basin while being blocked by the crawling red pine trees. (I forgot to take a picture of what Ryukozan looks like from the flatlands of the basin!) Follow the railing to the peak while looking at it. There is a small triangulation sign on the peak. The altitude is 179m. Since the altitude of the flat land in the Shimamori basin is less than 60m, there is an altitude difference of 120m. If you are confident in your feet, please come visit us.

The locals are valued. Some people are cleaning the stairs, and the shrine is also beautiful. The approach is quite steep, but it is not a high mountain. You can borrow a cane, but if you have stock, you should take it with you. As for the shoes, I climbed with athletic shoes.
