曹洞宗の寺院。
寛永２年（１６２５）、保泉寺２世吟守が江戸の材木商とともに「芙蓉山龍安寺」として開創。のち吉原宿の所替えにともない現在地へ移転した。江戸期は除地３反７畝。保泉寺の隠居寺的な位置づけだったようす。
保泉寺は、当寺の北北東方向、富士市吉原４－２－４１
Fuyoyama Ryuanji Temple
Temple of the Soto sect.
In the 2nd year of Kanei (1625), Hosenji II Ginmori was founded as "Furong Mountain Ryoanji" with a timber dealer in Edo. Later, he moved to his current location due to the replacement of Yoshiwara-juku. During the Edo period, there were 3 tans and 7 ridges. It seems that it was positioned as a retired temple of Hosenji.
Hosenji Temple is located in the north-northeast direction of the temple, 4-2-41 Yoshiwara, Fuji City.
