★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山門・本堂は古いものですが、趣のあるものばかりです。県道１号片庭交差点近くの農道を入ると次第に時の止まったような場所に出ます。本堂に繋がる階段周辺は、苔むした魅力的な雰囲気に引き込まれます。脇に小川が流れていて、水音が心をリラックスさせてくれます。水場があるために夏場はトンボがたくさんいます。本堂にお詣りし、境内に腰を掛けゆっくりした時間を感じて下さい。 帰るときには心が軽くなっていると思いますよ。
The Sanmon and main halls are old, but they are all quaint. When you enter the farm road near the Kataniwa intersection on Prefectural Road No. 1, you will gradually come to a place where time has stopped. The area around the stairs leading to the main hall is drawn into a charming mossy atmosphere. A stream runs beside it, and the sound of water relaxes your mind. There are many dragonflies in the summer because there is a water place. Please visit the main hall and sit down in the precincts to feel a relaxing time. I think my heart will be lighter when I go home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 笠間駅からレンタサイクルで30分程、茅葺きの山門が綺麗。雨上がりだったので苔も綺麗に輝いていました。
About 30 minutes by rental cycle from Kasama station, the thatched-roof mountain gate is beautiful. It was after the rain, so the moss was shining beautifully.

高峯からのアクセスは行きも帰りもかなりハードです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鎌倉時代に宇都宮氏一族の笠間氏初代時朝が荒廃していた寺院を再建し、笠間氏の菩提寺としました。建長4年(1252)時朝は木造千手観音立像を造立し寄進しました。
同寺東には笠間時朝以下18代続いた笠間氏の墓とされる五輪塔、宝篋印塔が残されています。（案内板より抜粋）
ちなみに境内近くの番犬が吠えまくります。
In the Kamakura period, the temple that was devastated by the first morning of Mr. Kasama of the Utsunomiya clan was rebuilt and made into the family temple of Mr. Kasama. In the morning of the 4th year of construction (1252), a wooden Senju Kannon statue was erected and donated.
To the east of the temple, there is the Hokyointo, the five-wheeled tower that is said to be the tomb of Mr. Kasama, who has continued for 18 generations since Tokitomo Kasama. (Excerpt from the information board)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 創建時期は不明、初代笠間氏累代の墓がある寺だそうです。
建物の朽ち加減が趣きを通り越してちょっと心配なレベルです。いい感じに修繕保全ができると良いですね。
The date of its construction is unknown, and it is said that it is a temple with the tombs of the first Kasama era.
It is a little worrisome level that the decay of the building goes beyond the taste. It would be nice if repairs and maintenance could be done in a good way.
