★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soba Noodle - ¥1310 for two sets - The broth was very onion and soy sauce tasting. The noodles were fantastic and plentiful. The tempura was so crispy until I left it too long. Should have scarfed that in first. The lady serving was very nice even though she couldn't speak English well, she was still able to help us order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was so, so good for the PRICE. This satisfying bowl right here cost me 380yen, and they threw in the egg for free! It's a little downtrodden from the outside, but the interior is comforting in an old-school way; covered in magazine clippings from this little chain's triumphs and cooks with warm smiles. If you're in the area (on a budget), this spot is a no-brainer!!

Just a minute from the Ryogoku Station. This is where you can enjoy good quality ordinary soba noodle with very reasonable price.
And the tempura is gem too.
Crisp and not oily at all tempuras make great company to your soba noodle.
