岩手県内で、しかも無料で温室の植物を鑑賞出来る、数少ない施設。
You can enjoy flowers even in January.
This is one of the few facilities in Iwate prefecture where you can appreciate the plants in the greenhouse free of charge.

It's a pity that the flowers didn't bloom so much because of the time ? I can't complain because the admission is free.

①亜熱帯植物（ヤシ、ガジュマル、極楽鳥花等）、亜熱帯果樹（バナナ、パイナップル、レモン等）、多肉植物、食虫植物、エアープランツ等の珍しい植物が見られます。
②岩手県を代表する画家の深沢紅子さんが描いた野の花の絵100枚を展示したギャラリーと絵に描かれている植物約80種を植栽した野の花花壇があります。
③外は吹雪でも温室では花と緑を楽しめます。

(1) Rare plants such as subtropical plants (palm, banyan tree, bird of paradise, etc.), subtropical fruit trees (banana, pineapple, lemon, etc.), succulent plants, carnivorous plants, air plants, etc. can be seen.
(2) There is a gallery that displays 100 wildflower paintings drawn by painter Akiko Fukasawa, a representative painter of Iwate Prefecture, and a wildflower flowerbed that has planted about 80 species of plants depicted in the painting.
③ You can enjoy flowers and greenery in the greenhouse even in a snowstorm outside.

屋根付き温室の熱帯植物では南国に行った気分になれます。
多肉植物も種類豊富。
無料なので広くはありませんがこれだけのものを楽しめるのはありがたいです。

The tropical plants in the covered greenhouse make you feel like you're in the south.
There are many kinds of succulents.
It's free so it's not big, but I'm grateful to enjoy this much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 数年ぶりに訪れてみたら、だいぶ変わっていて、見学者のことを考えてなのか？、綺麗に整備されちゃったな…と感じました。植物の数も減った印象で、代わりにベンチが増えていたかな？でも好きな場所、岩手にも、もっと植物園増やして欲しい。
When I visited for the first time in a few years, it was quite different, and was it thinking about the visitors? I felt that it was well maintained. I got the impression that the number of plants had decreased, and I wonder if there were more benches instead. But I want more botanical gardens in my favorite place, Iwate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昨年11月に、ポケモンスタンプラリーの参加施設を息子と周りました。
その日最後に寄らせて頂いたのがこちらの花きセンター様でしたが、こちらのリサーチ不足により閉館時間を30分程過ぎて到着しました。
私たちが外に居ると、事務所におられた女性の方が対応して下さり、スタンプを設置してある別棟をわざわざ開けて案内して頂けました。本当にありがとうございました。
何年か前に寄らせて頂いた事があって、花好きな私の母がとても楽しかったと話していたのを思い出します。次は、時間に余裕を持って伺いたいです。
Last November, I visited the participating facilities of the Pokemon Stamp Rally with my son.
The last person I visited on that day was this Hanaki Center, but due to lack of research here, I arrived about 30 minutes after the closing time.
When we were outside, a female in the office responded and took the trouble to open the annex with the stamp and guide us. I'm really thankful to you.
I remember visiting my mother a few years ago and saying that my mother, who loves flowers, had a lot of fun. Next time, I would like to ask with plenty of time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 無料で見学出来ます。桜の咲く時期は少し賑わいますが普段は静かな場所です。隣には岩手県農業大学校があり桜の隠れた名所にもなっているので桜を見に行ったら寄り道するといいですね。ハウスの中にはヤシの木や南国の植物園になっています。ノンビリとした時間が過ごせる場所ですので肩肘張らずに気軽に立ち寄ってみて下さい。
You can visit for free. It is a quiet place, although it is a little busy when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. There is Iwate Prefectural Agricultural College next door, which is also a hidden spot for cherry blossoms, so if you go to see the cherry blossoms, you should take a detour. Inside the house are palm trees and a tropical botanical garden. It's a place where you can spend a relaxing time, so feel free to drop by without having to stretch your shoulders.
