★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 竜泊ライン唯一の道の駅で、貴重な補給ポイントです。
道の駅自体は小規模なもので、ショップ、レストラン（ただし15時で営業終了）、トイレにEV充電施設などなどあります。自転車の人はここから先は龍飛岬まで補給ポイントないですよ注意しましょうね。
ショップでは青森県のお土産を各種取り扱っている。レストランではメバル料理推しで非常に美味しそうではあるのですが訪れたときには営業時間を過ぎていたので入れませんでした残念?
It is the only roadside station on the Tatsudomari line and is a valuable supply point.
The roadside station itself is small, with shops, restaurants (but closes at 15:00), toilets and EV charging facilities. If you are a bicycle person, there is no replenishment point from here to Cape Tappi, so be careful.
The shop sells various souvenirs from Aomori prefecture. At the restaurant, it seems to be very delicious with rockfish dishes, but when I visited it was past business hours so I could not enter it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 21年8月のお盆に車中泊で利用させていただきました。
静かな場所で快適ではあったのですが、この日は風が強く、なんと道の駅のトイレが閉まっていました。
かわりに道の駅のとなりにある「ゆとりの駐車帯」のトイレが使えるようになっているのですが、このトイレが公衆トイレでとても綺麗ではありませんでした。
しかも極めつけは、なんと『女子トイレの電気が点かない』のです。どこを探してもスイッチがなく、仕方なく彼女には男側のトイレを使わせましたが、女性だけだったら大変だと思います…。
(隣にキャンプ場があるので、女性の場合で電気が点いていないときは許可を得てそちらのトイレを利用させてもらう必要もあるかと思います。)
綺麗な屋内のトイレが使えると期待していったのですが、風の強い地域ですから訪問前に電話などで道の駅のトイレが使えることを確認した方がいいと思います。
なお、翌朝道の駅が開いてから道の駅の屋内トイレも利用させてもらいましたが、こちらは綺麗で快適でした。ただし、石鹸はどちらのトイレにもありませんでしたので、持参してください。
※8/14訪問時点での情報です。現在は変わっているかもしれません。
I used it for a night in the car in Obon in August 2009.
It was comfortable in a quiet place, but the wind was strong on that day, and the toilet at the roadside station was closed.
Instead, you can use the toilet in the "clear parking zone" next to the roadside station, but this toilet was not very clean as a public toilet.
What's more, the best thing is that the women's toilet doesn't turn on. No matter where I looked, there was no switch, so I had to use the toilet on the man's side, but I think it would be difficult for women alone ...
(There is a campsite next door, so if you are a woman and the electricity is off, you may need to get permission to use that toilet.)
I expected to be able to use a clean indoor toilet, but since it is a windy area, I think it is better to confirm that the toilet at the roadside station can be used by telephone etc. before visiting.
After the roadside station opened the next morning, I also used the indoor toilet at the roadside station, which was clean and comfortable. However, I didn't have soap in either toilet, so please bring it with you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 道の駅のスタンプを押しに訪問しました。水族館ではないですがカレイに餌をあげられます。１１月初旬から４月中旬まで冬季閉鎖になるようです。冬の気候が厳しんだと思いました。
I visited to stamp the roadside station stamp. It's not an aquarium, but you can feed flatfish. It seems to be closed in winter from early November to mid-April. I thought the winter climate was harsh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ １階の水槽でヒラメかカレイが泳いでいました。１階に土産物屋と小さい郵便ポストがありました。２階はレストランです。「中泊メバル膳」を食べました。美味しかったです。冬場は休業だそうです。竜泊まりライン（国道３３９号線）の龍飛に近い山間部がが通行止めになってしまうからでしょう。
Flounder or flatfish was swimming in the aquarium on the first floor. There was a souvenir shop and a small mailbox on the first floor. The second floor is a restaurant. I ate "Nakadomari rockfish set". It was delicious. It seems that it is closed in winter. This is probably because the mountainous area near Ryuhi on the Ryumari Line (National Highway 339) will be closed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy resting point and interesting shop with local items and live sea life. Views okay but keep going up to next stop for better view. This stop does have food and drinks though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a good rest stop in the north. They sold rock fish and it was really good. A little expensive but the view was nice and the plate was pretty. Also, they have a mini aquarium which is cool.
