時期的なこともあるかもしれませんが、以前のほうが良かったです。

地場産素材のジェラートも美味しい。訪問時は獄きみのシーズンが終わっていたのか獄きみ系売店はクローズしていました。
同時に一部のトイレも閉鎖されていたのは少し不便を感じました。
それほど大きな道の駅ではありませんが、ローカライズな地元産品が充実しているのは個性があり魅力的です。

外観は、道の駅というよりは、地元の直売所の様な雰囲気。
フードコートで塩ラーメンを注文。白ゴマがまぶされており、お扶が入っているのが特徴。細縮れ麺でシンプルな美味しさ❗?
あと、売店の焼鱒がメチャクチャ旨かった❗?
青森県は魅力的な道の駅が沢山有りますが、ここは特にオススメです?

道の駅内は野菜が格安で売っており、お土産も豊富です。
食堂とアイス屋（津軽ジェラート）があり、賑わっておりました。
青森市内のスーパーより安い野菜が多く、嫁と義母は買い物を楽しんでいました。
私は外にあった唐揚げ屋で油淋鶏味を食べました。
冷めていましたが、美味しかったです。
