★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「ここのジェラートおすすめ」という友人からの口コミで目的地に設定。ちょうど昼時だったので食堂でランチをいただくことに。
見たら「なんて魅力的?」決めるのに時間がかかる美味しそうなメニューのオンパレード❗️その中で「この場所ならでは」の“山塩チャーシューメン”と“手打ちかけそばミニソースカツ丼セット”そして我慢できなかった(笑)“夏野菜の天ぷら”の食券を購入。
味はどれも美味しかった。特に“夏野菜の天ぷら”はオススメ。ちょっと残念だったのは、ラーメンもう少しコシが欲しかった&麺類がザルから出された形そのままだった感じ？だったこと。
☆1つ減らすか悩んだけど、それをもってしても感激が勝ったので☆5❗️
ジェラートは季節物もあり、初めての味も楽しめた。リーズナブル(シングル・ダブルとも350円)なので2人でダブルにしてもお財布に優しい❤️
 Set as a destination by word of mouth from a friend who says "Recommended gelato here". It was just noon, so I decided to have lunch at the cafeteria.
When you see it, it takes time to decide "What a charming ?" On-parade of delicious menu ❗️ Among them, "Yamashio char siu noodles" and "Handmade soba mini sauce cutlet bowl set" and you can put up with it I didn't (laughs) I bought a meal ticket for "summer vegetable tempura".
All the tastes were delicious. Especially, "Summer vegetable tempura" is recommended. What was a little disappointing was that I wanted the ramen to be a little more chewy & the noodles were just as they were taken out of the colander? That was.
☆ I was worried about reducing one, but even with that, I was impressed, so ☆ 5 ❗️
There are seasonal gelatos, and I enjoyed the taste for the first time. It's reasonably priced (350 yen for both singles and doubles), so it's easy on your wallet even if you double it with two people ❤️

手打ち麺と記載があるのでコシがあると思いきやあまり市販麺と変わらないコシです。
若干トロミのあるスープは美味しかったです。
一食予算は800円〜1200円です。

小さな展望室があり、天気が良ければ綺麗な景色が見られます。
可愛らしい山グッズもあるし、蜂蜜やジャム
なども置いてある。
山塩ラーメン美味しい。
卵かけご飯もたべましたが、玉子と山塩のタレでいただき美味しい。
お味噌汁とお漬物付きで、安い。
ホットできる道の駅でした。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ こじんまりした小さな道の駅なんですが、最初は小さいから通り過ぎちゃおうかなんて家族と話していましたが、一応寄ってみようということになり寄ってみて良かったです。
時間がまだ早かったので食堂などはまだ開いていませんでしたが、メニューを見ても食べたくなる様なメニューとこざっぱりした垢抜けた食堂で、土産物店も小さいながらもオシャレな店内で、漆器の専門店もテナントで入っていて買いたくなる様な品揃えでした。
また一番のオススメは小上がりを上がると展望台になっていて桧原湖を一望できます。ちょうど私が訪れた4月半ばはまだ湖面が凍っていて晩冬の名残りを感じる様相を呈していました。
小さいからと通り過ぎず、ぜひ立ち寄りをオススメしたい道の駅でした。
決して店の回し者ではないので、お間違いなく。（笑）

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went out of our way to come to this road station to get back near some snow for the kids. There was plenty of snow and it was a nice quiet place with clean facilities. We came here in early December and the scenery was amazing. Everything was dusted white with snow! A nice Michi no eki. Probs perfect of you were in a camper like us and venturing to a ski slope nearby. There was also an onsen 5 minutes down the road to get cleaned up and warm.
