★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ごく普通の（もしくは少し小規模）の道の駅だと思いますが、ここで売ってる東北限定柿ピーが美味しくて、寄ると購入しちゃいます（笑）売ってる物に関しては必要最低限と言ったところでしょうか？。。この辺まででしたら雪道でも２駆（要スタッドレス）で登れると思いますが、これ以上登るなら４駆が必須な気がします。
 I think it's a very ordinary (or a little small) roadside station, but the Tohoku limited persimmon pea sold here is delicious and I will buy it when I stop by (laughs) It is said that the items sold here are the minimum necessary Is it just a place? .. .. I think that you can climb up to this area with 2WD (studless required) even on snowy roads, but if you want to climb any more, I feel that 4WD is essential.

ここからでも充分綺麗な紅葉見れます。
The soft serve ice cream of mountain grapes is delicious.

親は大好きな廣戸川を子供達は種類豊富なソフトクリームに大興奮！
岩魚の塩焼きは美味しそうでした。
I stopped by on the way back from British Hills.
Parents love Hirotogawa and children are excited about the wide variety of soft serve ice cream!
The grilled rock fish looked delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 名物はヤーコンソフトクリームと山葡萄ソフトクリーム。ヤーコンは野菜直売所にも売っていたのでヤーコンはこのあたりの名産品なのかもしれない。ヤマメの塩焼き500円も珍しい。
野菜直売所、名産品売り場、トイレなどあり。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3月12日行って来ました。行くまでの道は除雪され、道には雪は無かったです。羽鳥湖は、全面凍ってました。
I went there on March 12th. The road to go was snow-removed and there was no snow on the road. Lake Hatori was completely frozen.

スキー場までママさんカー（トヨタポルテ）で登れますか？
と聞いたところ、四駆か二駆ならチェーンがないと厳しいとの事。
数日前に登りの車がスピンして後続車と6台の玉突き事故があったららしい。
クルマが勿体ないからやめたほうが良いとのアドバイスも2時間掛けてここまで来たのに 涙。
雪道が空いていたのでトライしてみると雪上車がキレイに雪かきをしてくれていた。
ラッキー！
これで初の羽鳥湖スキー場へ難なく到着しました。 感謝！
