★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food but watch out for the prices. We ordered 2 set meals and beers and somehow got charged 1,100 more than displayed on the menu. Also: English menu is more expensive than Japanese one. Weird! Never happened before during our travels.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent Gyutan, but compared to some of the ones in Sendai, they are pretty tough and not as juicy. Place was quiet after lunch. Good for a refuelling if you've been walking around the entire day though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious gyutan and ox tail soup, and friendly service (surprised at the level of English!). Some of the other comments had me worried that I'd get charged some weird gaijin price, but it's just the seating fee (and taxes) that you pay if you order alcohol. Want to pay exactly what you see on the menu? Then don't order alcohol!
