含水量が多いようで、甘くてふっくら。
6月下旬に買ったお米でも、
炊飯時の水が米と同量でも十分やわらかな炊き上がり。
年配者には特にお薦めしたい、お米とお米の販売業者さんです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 美味しいお米は全国にあると思うが、南魚沼（塩沢エリア）のコシヒカリはやっぱり別格。ここのお米を土鍋で炊いてお櫃にいれて、おにぎりを作って食べるのが私の一番のごちそうです。大切に一粒残さずきれいにいただいています。（おにぎり以外でも、おいしいうなぎを焼いてもらって自宅で食べる時はごはんもおいしいものにしたいので塩沢さんのお米です）
