P	Prazna Caria on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 刈田24番札所。寶池山聖光院宮本坊蓮蔵寺。蔵王山頂にあった、48坊の子院を持つ大寺、願行寺。応仁の乱で兵火にかかり焼失しましたが、後に残った３院の一つ、宮本坊の東にあった蓮池を埋め立てて建てられたのがこの蓮蔵寺です。伊達政宗の戦勝祈願の寺にもなったとの事。ネットにもあまり情報のないこの願行寺についてお寺の方にお話を伺ったのですが、さすがにお詳しい。丁寧にいろいろなことを教えてくださり、メモを取るのも忘れ聞き入ってしまいました。ただ一つ残念だと思ったのが、せっかく由緒あるお寺であるのに、由緒書きのようなものが境内にもない事。最近までは境内の墓地の地図の横にあったらしいのですが、地図を新しくした際になくなってしまったのだとか。これはもったいない。アピールできる所はたくさんある素晴らしいお寺なのに、それをしないのがこのお寺のいい所なのかもしれません。 Karita 24th place.
