★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日蓮宗江戸前期の代表的遺構として重要文化財に(Important Cultural Property）。阪奈道路を奈良方面にJRの高架をくぐって高円交差点の手前辺りに参道があります。歩道から左へかなり入ったところでけっこう大きなお寺です。大阪側が西芳寺ですが、その隣奈良側です。西芳寺より奥まった位置になります。その隣奈良側に行教寺が在ります。
 Nichiren Sect Important Cultural Property as a representative remains of the early Edo period. Take the Hanna Road toward Nara, pass through the elevated JR line, and there is an approach to the front of the Takamado intersection. It's a pretty big temple just off the sidewalk to the left. Saihoji is on the Osaka side, but next to it is the Nara side. It is located deeper than Saihoji Temple. There is a Gyokyo temple on the Nara side next to it.

一緒に行った友人が同じ宗派でした。

It looks like a temple of the Nichiren sect.
The friends I went with were of the same denomination.

境内は、結構広いです。参拝者も少なく、静にお詣り出来ます。
Nichiren sect historic site.
The precincts are quite large. There are few worshipers and you can admire it quietly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日蓮聖人がまだ是聖房蓮長を名乗っていた若かりし頃、奈良遊学の際に寄宿していたとされる寺院。
本堂は大きく、一見素朴ながら天井画が見事です。江戸時代初期の建立で、詳細は分かりかねますが、密教寺院の特徴と日蓮宗寺院の特徴とが融合しているとのことで、重要文化財に指定されているそうです。
御住職がこれからお出掛けとのことで御首題は書き置きでしたが、御題目を唱えながら墨を摺り、日付などを入れて下さいました。
A temple that is said to have been boarding during the Nara school days when Nichiren Saints were still calling himself "Choseibo Rencho".
The main hall is large, and at first glance the ceiling paintings are stunning. It was built in the early Edo period and the details are unknown, but it is said that it is designated as an important cultural property because the characteristics of the esoteric temple and the characteristics of the Nichiren Buddhist temple are fused.
The priest said that he was going out and he had left the title, but he wrote ink and wrote the date while chanting the subject.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日蓮宗のお寺です。近鉄奈良駅を出て、東大寺辺りとは反対の方角なので、観光客はほとんどいません。
本堂の天井画はなかなか見事です。
駐車場は見たところ境内にしかないので、徒歩で参詣するのが無難かと思います。近鉄奈良駅から徒歩10分程度です。
It is a temple of the Nichiren sect. After leaving Kintetsu Nara Station, the direction is opposite to that of Todaiji Temple, so there are few tourists.
The ceiling painting of the main hall is quite beautiful.
The parking lot is apparently only in the precincts, so I think it's safe to visit on foot. It is about a 10-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 厳かでとても静かです。お寺の、方に声かけしたら本堂の広縁にあがることが出来ました。その天井に画かれた極彩画は、見た価値が十二分にありました。
It is solemn and very quiet. When I talked to the people at the temple, I was able to go up to the wide edge of the main hall. The colorful paintings on the ceiling were more than worth seeing.
