We ordered the vegetable curry with salad and naan bread. It was really delicious! The atmosphere was cozy due to gentle music and nice interior. The prices were also very affordable. Overall a highly recommendable curry cafe! :)

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Tokyo with the cutest curry in town! It is a little bit off the beaten path in Ikebukuro, about ten minutes walking from the station just past and a little north of Sunshine Street. The restaurant is quirky and relaxed, not pretentious at all in appearance or price, and is clearly a favorite of the neighborhood locals. The entire staff are lovely people who are kind and welcoming, and really fun to chat with if you are in there during a slow time. Some are good English speakers, some less confident, but all really nice. The menu is really cute - hand-drawn by the owner - and there is just enough English to get you through ordering. Everything I have eaten here is delicious, though my favorites are the butter-chicken curry and the cheese naan, which is filled with gooey cheese and easily a meal in itself. The owner will take the time to draw your adorable curry decorations herself. I recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Best curry and nan I've ever had in Tokyo. Even the salad was good.

This is the best Indian/Nepalese restaurant in Tokyo. (Sajilo Clove in Nishiogi and Kichijoji being a runner up). I went with my husband for lunch today and we ordered two lunch sets with four curries in total. Each curry was delicious but my favorite was the prawn curry which was quite sweet but very more-ish. The mutton curry was my second favorite, then the saag then the chicken curry. You’d be crazy to get rice over naan here; naan is perfect. Cheese or plain, they’re both good. Chai was delicious too. Loved the quirky/quaint atmosphere and music. Very affordable. Kind and prompt service. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Best curry in Tokyo. Great staff and super cute menus/decor/characters on your curry! Saag curry and butter chicken are standouts.

Upon entering this little café, you leave Tokyo for a while and suddenly find yourself in a cozy living room. The decor of dark wood, framed pictures on the wall, a bookshelf, narrow tables and a wonderfully spicy fragrance make you feel at home here. Colorful, cheerful music fills the room. The chefs are neither rushed nor tense, but just seem to pursue their favorite activity and are visibly happy about every new guest. Each curry is unique, tastes delicious and is prepared with love. The warm Naan bread creates a pleasant feeling in your stomach. Smiling happily, you leave the café and are astonished to find yourself in the middle of the big city.

Such a wonderful place to stop and eat. It’s pretty quiet and full of charm. The owners wife throws pottery and makes all the curry bowls. She adds cute drawings and designs that add to the magical feel of your meal. The nann is fantastic and you get a free 2nd nann if you need it. My wife and I love eating here. I’m sure you will too.
