T	Thomas Metral on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La soffita is a great place to eat '' real '' pizza (not '' saizeria types '') it's really good but a little bit expensive. But if you're tired of eating Japanese food and want a great Italian experience, that's the place you need to go. However, the quality of the service could be improved. That's why 4 stars instead of 5.

A	Alex Podel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pizza was good. I'm from Jersey/NYC so I know pizza. Thin crust, very artisan in style, definitely tasty and some of the better pizza I've had in Asia. The cocktails are weak though so that's a star off.

The rule book said: Each person is charged 300 yen for sitting down You need to get 1 drink and 1 food No smoking The thing we were annoyed with was the table fee and the 1 drink and 1 food. We were annoyed because the food itself is amazingly cheap. We walked into the restaurant with plans for the rest of the day and we ordered thinking we can save money. After we order, a woman comes up and shows us the rule book, pointing at the drink rule. We didn't look twice and ordered the cheapest drink on the menu. Later, when we got the receipt we calculated how we will split the bill. We realised the seating fee and to put it into context, if you have a party with 10 people that's 3000yen seating fee. That's ridiculous. They don't even have it on the menu outside.

A few minutes after handing us the drink menu, the waiter came over and asked us what we wanted to order. 2 of us wanted a drink, but myself and 2 other friends didn't. The waiter then proceeded to tell us that ordering a drink was MANDATORY, and at around 600 yen each, we were disappointed. Then we ordered the food, which was good. After finishing our meals, we asked for the check. We noticed that there was an extra 1500 yen charge on the bill, and asked the waiter why that was. He told us there was a TABLE FEE for 300 yen PER PERSON, which is ridiculous, considering there's only the option to dine in. We argued the fee, and the waiter started to yell at us. In the end, we reluctantly paid the fee, and left the restaurant feeling scammed. If you want a mandatory 600 yen Coke and a 300 yen table fee, with an hour wait time for your food, this is a great place to go. If not, then there are many other great pizza restaurants nearby.
