There are washing machines available for loads of 5-22kg, washer/dryers for 10/16kg, and dryers for loads 14/25kg. There is a machine available to convert notes to coins. The machines automatically add detergent so you will not need to bring your own. There are easy to understand instructions in Japanese, English, Mandarin and Korean.

Great easy way to do our laundry as tourist. We have a baby so it’s impossible to ever pack enough clothes! Very clean and we ate at the Indian next door while we waited which was also yummy.

The newer machines provide detergent. If they are occupied you might have to wait a bit so best to bring your own for the older machines just in case. The best machines also do wash and dry without having to switch the clothes. Very convenient

New machines and simple, clean space made this a great convenience for me to do my own laundry during an extended business trip. Short walk from nearby luxury hotels makes it a cost effective alternative to expensive hotel laundry services. Had I read the reviews here or more carefully viewed the pictograms I would have known the washers deliver detergent automatically - no need to buy or bring your own.

Great place to get laundry done. Instructions are generally not English but there are pics to guide you. Both the new and the older machines all dispense detergent, it’s ¥200 for a load of wash and ¥100 for 12 min drying (9kg). Also I concur re the Indian restaurant next door, it didn’t come up on gmaps for me but it’s right next door and delicious! A great way to spend your 40 odd mins waiting for wash and dry!

Spacy. The AC was not on so it was really hot. Wish there were wet wipes to wipe the tables. There was also no alcohol sanitizer. No trash bin so trash is everywhere.

If you are in Shinjuku staying at the Hyatt Regency or Tokyo Hilton this is the place to get some laundry done and not pay more for cleaning your socks than you did to buy them I. The first place. The machines are in perfect shape and do a great job. In particular are the two large red machines. These will wash and dry your clothes for one price, and they even add soap themselves so you don’t need to try and find that. Easy to use; close the door and push the red button in the black panel at the top left, this cleans the drum. Then open it and add your clothes, choose the size of your load(yellow or blue) and then put that much change into the coin slot on the right side. Come back when it tells you to and grab some food.

Nice quiet chilled place to do your laundry. No English instructions but easy to work out. There’s even super large ones (22kg for washing and 25kg for drying) for big things or if you have a ton of stuff. No need bring or buy detergent, the machines put it in automatically. Change machine available, tables and chairs to hang out. Other side of the park from Hilton and Hyatt so you can avoid being robbed blind. Indian restaurant next door if you fancy a bite of lunch while you wait. Open 24/7.
