Definitely worth coming. You get to choose from a very special pancakes and shaven ice menu, observe local couples chatting over their melting dishes. Get to feel a bit local. The queue wasn't even a 10 minute wait on a Saturday late morning (an achievement in Tokyo, not to mention Ginza itself). That's a big advantage too. Be forewarned though: if you order coffee because you still beed to fully wake up, you will likely end up visiting a nearby Starbucks afterwards. This place does not exactly specialize in coffee :)

The pancake I had was very tasty. The two other people I was with each had a different pancake stack and were pleased with the option they went with. I paired mine with an iced coffee and was very satisfied.

I chose blue cheese and pepper foam pancakes (there was an option for shaved ice, too). It was so do delicious. The pancakes are super fluffy and you can barely taste them (good for those who don't like Japanese pancakes because they taste too eggy). But the foam was super super rich, delicious, filling, even though the portion of pancakes is not huge. There are many other very good looking dishes on the menu, so the choice is not easy. I went there on Monday a bit before 1 pm and there were two seats available. But on a weekend you might wait for a table. The service was good. And it seems like they have an English menu.

Mochi mochi shaved ice - absolutely delicious. This was a very curious pairing but it worked exquisitely. Kinako powder and mochi on top of a mountain of shaved ice. Matcha and syrup also complemented the dessert very nicely. The menu varies between both pancakes and shaved ice, with most flavours being the same for either. A house favourite seems to be the pistachio/strawberry, but there are more adventurous options for those daredevils! Beware of a long queue at peak times during the summer. If you want to beat the queue I recommend going between 10:30-11:30...any later and you could find yourself in line for a while! Although even if you do have to queue, it will be worth the wait!

This amazing little shop is tucked away in a quite alley in ginza. I tried kinako kuromitsu kakigori which was really delicious! The staff members are really cheerful and overall the shop had a really positive vibe. They have some unique selection of pancakes and kakigori. Definitely worth the visit!
