I	Ichiro yoyogi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ いろいろな地方に行って、その地元のデパートに行くのが結構好きです。そしてカワトク。素晴らしいデパートです。店周も店内も明るくきれいで、ちゃんと街のランドマークになってます。百貨店を取り巻く環境の厳しさは相変わらずですが、ずっと守っていって欲しい、盛岡の宝でしょう。 I like going to different regions and going to the local department stores. And Kawatoku. It's a great department store. The area around the store and the inside of the store are bright and beautiful, and it has become a landmark of the city. The harsh environment surrounding department stores remains the same, but I think it's a treasure of Morioka that I want you to keep.

M	Moriokavoyage on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kawatoku is a higher end department store. It is impeccably clean. The staff are excellent. Most of the stores are pricey brand names. But there are some affordable stores such as LOFT that I often go to. Also, the basement floor is great! There are some small eateries and many food stores that sell delicious and affordable meals. Also, the omiyage section has a lot of wonderful sweets. Even if it's just for window shopping, browsing in the basement floor is fun. Unfortunately the Kawatoku closes much earlier than other malls, at 7pm, so the store hours are not as convenient for those who can't stop buy during the daytime. There is a bus stop right outside of Kawatoku that goes in the direction of Morioka Station. There are usually some taxis waiting outside of Kawatoku as well.
P	Phoenix on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool place, easy enough for only English speakers and readers. Get the Google translate app and you can read the stuff they sell. Its expensive compared to some stuff, but good quality stuff. Our tour went there for the Morioka Sansa Festival before it started.
