★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small compact supermarket just up the road from Kikukawa station. It may look like an average old supermarket, but the quality is the best in the area. They also offer special sushi services.
My wife totally surprised me by taking a fish to the fishmonger and asked him to sushi and sashimi it for us. He said come back in an hour and sure enough it had been done. I can't remember if we had to pay a premium on getting that done, but it was well worth it.
