★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2016年11月18日高梁〜井倉ランニングで訪れました。一見民家の様な造りで、参拝するのを躊躇しました(^^;)地域密着の神社ですね。
I visited Takahashi-Ikura Running on November 18, 2016. At first glance it was made like a private house and hesitated to worship (^^;) It is a shrine that is close to the community.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本社の場所に気付かずに、摂社or末社の『玉龍稲荷大神神社』だけお参りして帰る方が多いようですが・・・。
（ここの口コミや写真の投稿、神社ブロガーさんたちの記事などを拝見した印象では、過半数なんじゃないでしょうか）
大山祇神社の本殿や拝殿は、本社鳥居や手水舎、玉龍稲荷大神神社の在る敷地の少し北側にあります。
（2001年に現在の位置に遷宮されたようです）
本社鳥居の手前を左に行って、塀沿いに右へ曲がってしばらく進むと、神門が見えてきます。
この神門はなんと、大三島の大山祇神社（＝大日本総鎮守です）から2017年に移築されたものです。

あ、念のためマーカーの位置を本殿・拝殿のあたりに変更しました。
これによって、経路案内の最終地点が本殿の西側に来るようになり、迷う方はいなくなる、かな？・・・そうだと良いですけど。
ただし、手水舎は扁額のある鳥居をくぐった場所にあるので、西側からお参りする場合でも一旦南へ向かうことになります。
手水舎、清らかで良い感じですよ。大山祇神社の神使のひとつである白鷺の像（小鷺の像）も在りますし。
個人的には、もっと緑が欲しいなあ、とは思う。ゆくゆくは『鎮守の杜』となるような。
Many people don't notice the location of the head office and visit only "Tamaryu Inari-Ojin Shrine" of Sensha or Suesha.
(I think the majority is the impression that I saw the reviews and photos posted here, the articles of the shrine bloggers, etc.)
The main shrine and worship hall of Oyama Gion Shrine are located on the north side of the site where the head office Torii, Tesuisha, and Yuryu Inari Ojin Shrine are located.
(It seems that it was relocated to its current position in 2001)
Go left in front of the head office torii, turn right along the fence and continue for a while until you see the Shinmon Gate.
This shrine was relocated in 2017 from Oyama Gion Shrine in Omishima, which is the guardian deity of Dainippon.

However, since the waterhouse is located behind the flat torii, you will have to head south even if you come from the west.
The waterhouse is clean and nice. There is also a statue of Shirasagi (a statue of Korasagi), which is one of the ambassadors of Oyama Shrine.
Personally, I think I want more green. Eventually it will become a "guardian forest".
