The best fir in Japan. The couple ginkgo in the same precincts is also wonderful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 千年モミ以外にも指定の巨樹はあと２つある。エゾエノキと夫婦イチョウ。１つの場所で3度美味しいスポット。本数は少ないが、画像のように柏原駅から、追手神社の近くを通る篠山営業所行きのバスが走っている。推奨は車。でなければ数少ないバスを待つか、駅まで7〜8キロは歩くことになります。私は篠山口駅まで歩きました。ほかにバスが通っているかどうかは不明です。神姫バスに問い合わせてみるのがいいかと思います。
In addition to the millennium fir, there are two more giant trees designated. Ezo enoki and a couple ginkgo. Delicious spot three times in one place. Although the number is small, as shown in the image, there is a bus from Kashihara Station to Kashiyama Sales Office passing near Oppichi Shrine. Recommended is a car. Otherwise you will have to wait for the few buses or walk 7-8 kilometers to the station. I walked to Kuwayamaguchi Station. It is unknown if there are other buses. I think it is better to inquire to the Shinki Bus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2018.08 さすがに大きい日本一のモミの木❗ 倒壊（台風?）対策なのか？周囲で支える鉄柱が無粋で痛々しい感じ…人間と同じで『転ばぬ先の杖』が必要なのかな…⁉️ のどかな山里と静寂な境内に、心が落ち着く。
2018.08 As expected, is it the best fir tree fence in Japan? The iron pillars supported by the surroundings are naughty and painful ... I wonder if I need a “stick that won't fall” like a human being ... ⁉️ I feel relaxed in a peaceful mountain village and a quiet precinct.
