まだ、知り尽くしていないが、桑島先生のおかげで知りたいと思った。 遺伝子組み換えは危険です！桑島先生は正義の医者だと思います。

【核融合が今必要なワケ】
科学技術の進歩とともに、人類はとても快適な生活を手に入れましたが、その裏で傷ついていていたのが地球なのです。２０世紀の人類はそのことに真剣に向き合わずに活動を続けていたので、環境破壊によって地球はかつて無いほどの危険に見舞われています。この問題を避けて地球の未来は語れません。
また、全世界でのエネルギー消費量というのは年々多くなってきています。もしもこのまま人類がエネルギー源を石油や石炭などの化石燃料にたより続ければ大気汚染や地球温暖化現象の進行が、また原子力発電では廃棄物による放射能汚染が懸念されます。
そこで核融合の出番です。これは、燃料となる水素は海の中にたっぷりあり、少なくともあと数千年は大丈夫です。使用済みの廃棄物も少ないのが核融合炉の特徴です。
