出雲大社から稲佐の浜へ続く道路脇に鎮座する小さなお社ですが、立派な垣根で囲まれているので見落とすことはないでしょう。

この神社は出雲大社の境外摂社で、御祭神は素戔鳴尊の御子神で、五穀を守護される神・大歳神です。
例祭は１月３日、９月１３日に行われます。
29号線に面した境内は芝生が植えられ遮るものが何もない、明るいけれど何となく素っ気ないような、神社のイメージとはかけ離れた境内です。
This shrine sits on the right side of the 29th line of Izumo Taisha Shrine in front of Otorii, passing through the Sea of Japan and past the votive mountain park. There is no description on the map.
This shrine is Izumo Taisha's off-the-shrine, the festival god is the son of Shionarison, the god who protects the cereals, and the Otoshigami.
The annual festival will be held on January 3rd and September 13th.

"Otose no Yashiro" is the outer shrine of Izumo Taisha. The god of ritual is Otoshimoto (a child of Otoshi no Kami and Susanoo no Mikoto). He is the guardian deity of the fields and the god of fertility.
