There is a Tanohara Nature Park that extends to the 7th station of Otakiguchi (elevation 2,180m) on the Mt. Ontake mountain trail, and there is a promenade where you can walk while looking at Mt. Ontake. When the weather is nice, you can see the Central Alps, Mt. Norikuradake, and Kaida Kogen from the nearby observatory.

Thank you for having a paved road so far! The scenery is good and it is a very pleasant place. Visitor Center? It is under construction and cannot be entered in the back parking lot.
